The Tasmanian Health Service is offering several opportunities for Registered Nurses interested in working at the Royal Hobart Hospital’s Department of Emergency Medicine. This role presents a great opportunity to practice at a beginner to expert level supported by a transition to emergency nursing program. Joining the Royal Hobart Emergency Department Team, you will provide high quality nursing care, aimed at improving patient health outcomes with a supportive multidisciplinary emergency department team.

Assessing individual patient needs, you will plan, implement or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options. You will also provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and other workers providing basic nursing care.

The Royal Hobart Hospital is the tertiary referral and largest hospital in Tasmania. The Department see both adult and paediatric presentations, it also has a short stay unit.
